Phillip R. "Budder" Mitchell, 74, of Hensley went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 24, 2012. He was a retired machinist for Union Pacific Railroad with 42 years of service and attended East Union Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Regina Mitchell, of East End Community; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Jr. and Lori Mitchell, of Littleton, Colorado; three daughters and sons-in-law, Traci and Glen Reppert, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Tami and Drew Schasny, of Charlotte North Carolina and Tonya and Joe Higginbotham, of Fort Smith; sister, Jamie Sue Ballard, of Brunswick, Georgia; three grandchildren, Phillip Mitchell III, Justin Mitchell Elliott and Caitlin Mitchell; aunt, Bobbie Louise Bunch; and many nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Susie Mitchell; and one brother, L.P. Mitchell.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday at East Union Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Landmark Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
