Frankie Ann Jones, born January 19, 1935, went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2012 at the age of 77. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was survived by her husband, William R. (Casey) Jones, of 57 years. Frankie was predeceased by her beloved son, Rodney S. Jones, whom she has blissfully joined in heaven. She was also predeceased by parents Frank and Hettie Goss, sisters Jean Russell and Laverne Goss and brother, Charles Goss. Other survivors include her sister-in-law Natalie Goss; loving nieces Sandy Speights and Phyllis Verdell; nephews Danny Russell, Gary Goss and Ronnie Goss; 13 great nieces and nephews; 19 great-great nieces and nephews.
Many consider Frankie as a second mother including Jeanie Rowland of Franklin, TN. She was known to many as "Meme" and was a loving "grandmother" to Jeanie's son, Ross Morrison. Frankie's extended family included many loving friends and neighbors. She was a mentor and loving support to many and had a wealth of friends whom she has dearly loved throughout her life. Her warm spirit and beautiful smile will be missed by everyone she has touched.
Visitation will be on Monday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home from 6:30 – 8:30. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, also at the North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial service will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com
Frankie was a generous supporter of many charitable organizations. In her memory, the family suggests making donations to your favorite charity.
